How to make me not look at a url

Post/mail/IM it without explaining what it's about, or with just some comment that only makes sense when you follow the link.

How hard is it to write a sentence or two explaining what the link is about?

yeh - i must admit to doing the same quite a bit...

it depends though... if i know the site in question it will influence my decision. :)
